Probate Administration, Guardianships and Conservatorships
LaPorte Law Group and its team regularly open Probate administrations for deceased persons’ estates, with or with out wills, handle disputes about estates and trusts, as well as provide experienced representation obtaining guardianships and conservatorships for incapacitated, and often elderly persons, where necessary, as well as assisting with the filing of annually required Guardians’ reports and/or Conservators’ accountings with the Probate Courts.

Employment and Wage Law
LaPorte Law Group is a member of the Massachusetts and New Hampshire Employment Lawyers’ Associations, the California Bar Labor Section and represents individuals who have claims based on illegal discrimination, based on disability, gender and race or other protected categories. LaPorte Law Group also represents employees who have not been properly and/or timely paid for their wages, Vacation time or Paid Time Off (“PTO”), including recently having represented an individual through the Supreme Judicial Court in Massachusetts where we established a landmark win in Wage Act law. Companies retain us to defend them as well as to advise them on how to comply with the various laws governing owning and managing a business with employees, including advising Human Resource departments or Ownership and their Office Managers to prevent problems, and/or to properly handle them if they arise. We are experienced in preparing appropriate and legally compliant written policies as well as employee handbooks.
